Time for Country Gravy

I had a V-8 moment.  This recipe is so easy, why didn’t I think of it!  The truth is we all lead really super fast paced lives, so when you come upon something as delicious as this gravy, you tell the world.

Our friend Craig over at Ruledme.com put this tasty gravy together and the best news ever?  It’s Keto, so if you are in Keto mode or you just want something really damned good to go with your eggs, whip up some of the country gold!

I added Trader Joe’s 21 Seasoning Salute

I think you could add any spice and have an awesome gravy


4 oz of Sausage – I used Jimmy Dean’s (I used 5 oz, who’s counting!)

Brown the sausage in a pan. Once it’s done move it to a bowl so that you can add it back into your gravy later.

2 Tablespoons of Butter

Melt into the pan

1 Cup of Heavy Cream (no substitutes)

Add to the butter and stir, pick up the tiny bits of sausage and incorporate

Once the cream is thick and bubbly-

1 Teaspoon of Guar Gum or Xanthum

Stir and incorporate

Spice of your liking



Add back in the Sausage

Stir and remove from heat

Dish this up on anything that comes to mind!
